We've taken several steps back in the sleep department. Just as it was getting better, Weston got sick again. Addison came down with a cold and so I was taking Elderberry to protect myself and Weston. It was working, I felt the smallest feeling like a cold might come fore days but it wasn't coming, then as I upped my dose to combat the growing symptoms, Weston's tummy started getting upset and he was having lots of yucky diapers. So I stopped and I caught the cold and so did he. Like most babies, when he isn't feeling well he just wants to be held so that magnifies itself at night time. Addison's cold spread to her eye and she got pink eye so she was home for a few days. Then it spread to Weston's eye but not nearly as bad because I caught it in time. Thankfully, Addison's doctor prescribed some eye drops for Weston because he knew how contagious it was and that he would probably get it too. So I'm still battling this cold. I have a small cough that is lingering. Weston isn't feel better quite yet, but improving a little day by day. It's just frustrating because I was finally seeing results and now we are back to waking up ever hour. Oh well...eventually we will start again!
I'm keeping a little boy for a couple of weeks. He is the son of one of my good friends. Logan's sitter just had a baby so she needed a few weeks off. He started with us this week. So far, it's gone really well! He is about 5 or 6 weeks older than Addison so they play pretty well together. Boy can he eat! Addison takes FOREVER to eat her meals and would rather just sing and talk at the table. What a change to fix food and put it in front a child and they just eat until it's gone without talking! And probably two or three times what she eats! haha They sure do keep me busy though! I really haven't done anything around the house at all. (even basic chores) I spend the day taking care of the three of them. Which is fine. I can clean on the weekends and just enjoy this time because it isn't for that long. Just a little funny that I was doing so great at cleaning and now I've taken several steps back in that department too.
